TWO VARIFOCAL CAMERAS
Two varifocal cameras combine to give independently controllable LPR and overview capabilities. Not limited by fixed focal lengths, the optical zoom capabilities can be preset or moved dynamically. The PSC-R7 provides 10x zoom for 27.3 yard recognition range.
MICRO SEALED ENCLOSURES
Housed in highly rugged IP67 aluminum enclosures, the PSC-R7 includes options for heaters and sun shields to cope with extremes of weather and a wide range of cradle and bracket assemblies for vehicle and fixed installations.
It also uses a novel cable turret and IP67 push-lock connectivity to simplify installation and reduce the depth of the unit when cabled. A range of extension and breakout cables for vehicle and fixed installations are available.

ULTIMATE CONTROL CAPABILITIES
The PSC-R7’s native control protocol provides comprehensive facilities which are fully acknowledged to allow easy integration with LPR applications for intelligent camera control. Other protocols are also implemented for ease of swap-out and upgrade. Use of an optional handset remote commander or laptop based application permits easy configuration at roadside or on-vehicle.
IMPROVED IR PERFORMANCE
The IR illumination is provided by banks of high efficiency LEDs with custom lens arrays. The PSC-R7 has unique IR control circuitry that permits frame-by-frame variations of illumination intensity for improved recognition performance with difficult to read license plates. The circuitry meets Class 1 Eye Safe requirements and is fail-safe so that it can be used with absolute confidence in public environments.
