PlateScan exhibits new 4-camera portable ALPR system

PlateScan introduced its newest ALPR product, a fully portable 4-camera system, at the International Chiefs of Police conference in San Diego.

Enclosed in a single aircraft luggage compartment conforming hard shell case is a computer, monitor, keyboard and all connections to power, GPS and cameras. The system can operate on either 12V DC or 110V AC.

It can read from up to four cameras at one time, delivering the same images offered by a vehicle-mounted system. The cameras can be easily mounted on vehicle windows or tripods. Databases can be easily downloaded either wirelessly or via memory stick. Plate reads can be uploaded to the PlateScan Connect back office system the same way.
